MacMod Pro allows you to compose and edit outstanding, professional-quality songs called MODs. Mods are equivalently MIDI songs with instruments written into the song itself, eliminating the need for extra (CO$TLY) hardware to play them. External speakers are recommended to enhance the music but are not required.
Registering MacMod Pro
MacMod Pro is shareware and priced at $25 US currency. To register, choose ﾔRegisterﾕ from the Apple menu and click the ﾔPrint Registration Formﾕ button. After you fill out some basic information, a registration form will be printed.
If you do not own a printer: write your name, address, e-mail address, system version, and ID number (displayed on the Registration dialog) on a sheet of paper and mail it with the registration fee to:

Staff Editor!

Enhanced Lists!
The lists in the Music Desktop, Instruments window, and Sequence window have been improved to allow moving list items around. Hold down the Option key while moving an item in the instrument list or sequence table to copy it.

Opening and Saving songs is even faster. Other functions have also been re-coded for speed and efficiency.
Friendlier Method for Loading Instruments!
Loading instruments can now be accomplished through an enhanced Open dialog so you can feel comfortable with the more ﾒmac-likeﾓ interface.
More Preferences!
Now you can choose to fade the music out, suppress loops, follow playback, and more! You can even turn on the auto save feature to automatically save your song at regular time intervals.
Grow Boxes in the Editors!
Both the Standard and the new Staff Editors support a grow box so you can size them to better fit your monitor.
Song Recording!
MacMod Pro now allows you to record your songs in realtime directly from the Keyboard window! You choose the speed or can even switch to manual progression for the finest accuracy.
Drag Manager Aware!
Now you can load songs and instruments even easier by using the Drag Manager. Simply drag the file's icon in the Finder into the appropriate window.
